述曰：此相應法，餘時亦有心所相應；此位之心既無心所故；如色等，應非相應。彼若復言：此位之心非相應法，如無表色非有質礙。

The Commentary states: In the case of this associated dharma, at other times it also has mental factors (caitasika) associated with it; since consciousness in this state would lack mental factors, like form (rūpa) and so on, it should not be [a factor] associated [with mind]. If he then argues: "Consciousness in this state is not an associated dharma, just as unmanifest form (avijñapti-rūpa) lacks physical resistance (pratigha)";
