述曰：初破非善，此設遮計。若是染者應貪等相應；以是染心故；如餘位染心。設與相應亦應有觸，許有無明故。又無想定尚不許染，況此定耶？若無記者，四無記中是何法攝？如《成業》徵文勢稍異。

The Commentary states: First, refuting that it is not wholesome; this provisionally blocks his assertions. If it were defiled, it should be associated with greed and so forth, because it is a defiled mind, like a defiled mind in other states. Even if it were associated, it should also have contact, since you accept the presence of ignorance (avidyā). Furthermore, even the mindless attainment (asaṃjñi-samāpatti) does not allow for defilement, let alone this attainment! If it were indeterminate, among the four indeterminates, by which dharma would it be subsumed? The wording of the inquiry in the Karmasiddhiprakaraṇa is slightly different.
