述曰：設彼若言：是自性善、或勝義善，違自宗故，是為大過。又非自性善；非善根故；如貪等法。非勝義善；非涅槃故；如餘有為善心等。

The Commentary states: If he were to say that it is wholesome by intrinsic nature (svabhāva-kuśala) or wholesome in the ultimate sense (paramārtha-kuśala), that would contradict his own school, which is a grave error. Moreover, it is not wholesome by intrinsic nature, because it is not a wholesome root, like dharmas such as greed. It is not wholesome in the ultimate sense, because it is not nirvāṇa, like other conditioned wholesome minds and the like.
