4.660

述曰：如成業論云：心有二種：一、集起心；二、種種心，為第二故名無心定。今言入定時不為止息，此極寂靜執持識故，即是第一集起心也，此定故有第八識在。滅定他諍說或有心，或說無心。

The Commentary states: As the Karmasiddhiprakaraṇa states: Mind has two kinds: first, the mind that amasses and generates (citta); second, the manifold mind (vijñāna). It is called a 'mindless attainment' with respect to the second. Now it says: when entering the attainment, it is not for the purpose of bringing to rest this extremely tranquil consciousness that sustains [the body]; that is precisely the first, the mind that amasses and generates. Therefore, the eighth consciousness persists in this attainment. Regarding the cessation attainment, others dispute whether it has mind or is mindless.
