述曰：《攝論》第二末云：又行緣識不相應故，應定緣義。若以行熏識名緣，即不熏轉識。如前已破，此正破經部。

The Commentary states: The end of the second chapter of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha states: 'Furthermore, because karmic formations conditioning consciousness would be discordant, it must be determined what conditioning means.' If one takes karmic formations perfuming consciousness to be called 'conditioning,' then it does not perfume the evolving consciousnesses. As has been refuted earlier, this directly refutes the Sautrāntikas.
