述曰：前第二卷已廣說訖。又彼若言初無漏生但無因起，何假汝立法爾種子。論主難云：
The Commentary states: This was already explained extensively in the second fascicle above. Moreover, if they say that the initial anāsrava [path] merely arises without a cause, and what need is there for you to posit innate seeds? The author of the Treatise challenges them:
