述曰：無漏道起一切煩惱及彼種子俱非有故，道者無間道。此正破經部，言種子故；薩婆多計惑得俱故；染法現、種俱非有故，斷何所斷。於此時中無有漏識故，若言惑種在無漏識中。

The Commentary states: When the anāsrava path arises, all defilements and their seeds are completely absent; 'the path' refers to the uninterrupted path (ānantarya-mārga). This directly refutes the Sautrāntikas, because it speaks of seeds; the Sarvāstivādins maintain that the defilements and possession (prāpti) co-occur; since both the actual states and seeds of defiled phenomena are completely absent, what is abandoned in abandonment? At this time there is no sāsrava consciousness; so if one says that the defilement seeds exist within the anāsrava consciousness:
