述曰：此下比量對前師說，義准應知。又出前師所有過失，世俗因果雖復似然，非勝義故，不可以勝義種、現為例。或彼非因緣，此是因緣，我不說彼，故非勝義。又汝所言種滅芽生。

The Commentary states: Below, formal inference (anumāna) is used against the preceding master's assertion, which should be understood by implication. Furthermore, it points out the errors of the preceding master: conventional cause and effect, although seemingly so, are not of the ultimate truth; thus one cannot take conventional [examples] as analogies for ultimate seeds and manifest activity. Alternatively, that is not a causal condition, whereas this is a causal condition; I do not speak of that, hence it is not of the ultimate truth.
