述曰：第二、依身業色可有執受，聲、意二業無執受失；第三、由業通身、語、意三故，根通色、行二蘊失；第四、業通色、聲、法，意業法處攝故，根非唯內處失。

The Commentary states: Second, bodily karma matter dependent on the body can have appropriation, but vocal and mental karma have the fault of lacking appropriation; third, because karma pervades all three—body, speech, and mind—the faculties have the fault of pervading both form and saṃskāra aggregates; fourth, karma pervades form, sound, and dharmas, and because mental karma is subsumed under the dharma-āyatana, the faculties have the fault of not being exclusively internal āyatanas.
