述曰：二、非六識也。今汝以意為五識依，明了意識應以五識為俱有依，必與五識同緣境故。

The Commentary states: Second, [the sixth consciousness] is not [independent of] the five consciousnesses. Now you take the mind to be the support of the five consciousnesses; lucid mental consciousness should take the five consciousnesses as co-arising supports, because it necessarily cognizes objects together with the five consciousnesses.
