述曰：俱依相近，種子親生，又並俱時，故論合說。非無間緣異時遠故，即是不緣種子等義。

[The Commentary states:] The simultaneous support is proximate, and the seed directly produces [it]; moreover, both are simultaneous, so the treatise speaks of them together. It is not like the equal and immediate condition, which is temporally separated and distant; that is the meaning of not taking seeds and the like as cognitive objects.
