述曰：非前麁後細；非前勝後劣；非前親後疎等，故言一味，執用相似故。此緣何法？

The Commentary states: It is not coarse first and subtle later; it is not superior first and inferior later; it is not proximate first and distant later, and so on; hence it is said to be of 'a single flavor', because its grasping activity is homogeneous. What phenomenon does this [seventh consciousness] take as object?
