述曰：下答之中文分為二：初解因相應；後辨果相應。辨因相應中分三：一、解染俱；二、釋餘俱；三、解受俱。就釋染俱中復分為二：初釋頌文；後辨廢立。釋頌文中又分為三：初解總句，四煩惱常俱；次顯別句，烈四煩惱；後解煩惱字，總舉頌中第五句答。

The Commentary states: The text of the answer below is divided into two: first, explaining association in the causal state; later, distinguishing association in the fruitional state. Within distinguishing association in the causal state, it is divided into three: 1. explaining its association with defilements; 2. explaining its association with the remaining [mental factors]; 3. explaining its association with feeling. Within explaining its association with defilements, it is again divided into two: first, explaining the verse text; later, distinguishing what is included and excluded. Within explaining the verse text, it is again divided into three: first, explaining the general line, 'constantly associated with four afflictions'; next, clarifying the specific line, listing the four afflictions; later, explaining the word 'affliction', quoting the fifth line of the verse in general as an answer.
