述曰：顯與四種相應位次，行相所由。相應五義，如第八識處，即第三卷說。此初五字，且解「俱」字及因。解「四」，非一法故。「煩惱」，後解。

The Commentary states: It reveals the stages and grounds of its ākāra in association with the four kinds. The five meanings of saṃprayukta are as explained in the section on the eighth consciousness, namely in the third fascicle. These first five characters provisionally explain the word 'associated' and the cause. 'Four' is explained because it is not a single dharma. 'Affliction' will be explained later.
