述曰：釋此二名，亦如後卷踞者，倚恃；傲者，傲憚。其我愛，如第十《瑜伽》、《對法》第一、第六、《顯揚》第一等說。我慢、我見並如《大論》五十五、五十八等說。

The Commentary states: Explaining these two names is also as in later fascicles. "Squatting" (jù) means relying upon; "haughty" (ào) means being arrogant and heedless. Self-love is explained as in Yogācāra[bhūmi], fascicle 10, the Abhidharma[samuccaya], fascicles 1 and 6, the Prakaraṇāryavācā, fascicle 1, and so forth. Self-conceit and self-view are both explained as in the Great Treatise (Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra), fascicles 55, 58, and so forth.
