述曰：勝解但能印前疑事、不了事生，此恒決定計我非餘。非先有疑及曾未了，今方印可，故無勝解，此約因位，非佛行相。五十五說：於今決定勝解生故。

The Commentary states: Resolute determination only arises to hold with approval a prior matter of doubt or an uncomprehended matter, whereas this [seventh consciousness] perpetually and decisively construes the self and nothing else. It is not that there was prior doubt or something previously uncomprehended that is only now approved; therefore it lacks resolute determination. This is said with respect to the causal stage, not the ākāra of a Buddha. Fascicle 55 states: 'Resolute determination arises regarding what is now decisively determined.'
