述曰：下釋頌答中有二：初且總解；後別顯之。此初也。「乃至有頂」九地皆然，即彼地繫。若第八識生彼欲界乃至有頂，現染末那相應心所即欲界繫，餘地亦爾，與六十三等同。然《顯揚》十九約界為論，無地分別。何以爾者？

The Commentary states: In the explanation of the verse's answer below, there are two parts: first, a general explanation; and second, a specific clarification. This is the first. "Up to the peak of existence": this is true for all nine bhūmis; it is bound to that very bhūmi. If the eighth consciousness is born in that desire realm up to the peak of existence, the manifest defiled manas and its associated mental factors are bound to the desire realm; for the other bhūmis it is also like this, which is identical to fascicle sixty-three and so forth. However, fascicle nineteen of the Prakaraṇāryavācā discusses it in terms of realms without distinguishing bhūmis. Why is this so?
