述曰：下更諍也。安惠等云：三位體無。此識俱時，唯有人執，無有法執；《對法》等說三位無故。若此俱有法執，應言三位有。准此師計，即成佛時無第七識，餘七識成佛。

The Commentary states: Below is further debate. Sthiramati and others say: In the three states, its substance does not exist. Operating simultaneously with this consciousness, there is only the grasping at a self, not dharmagrāha, because the Abhidharma-samuccaya and so forth state that it does not exist in the three states. If there were dharmagrāha operating with this, it should say that it exists in the three states. According to the doctrine of this master, at the time of achieving Buddhahood there is no seventh consciousness, and Buddhahood is attained by the remaining seven consciousnesses.
