述曰：此難聖道隨法執，及淨第七無者。第六意起唯一識俱，如何可言二識俱轉？前師若云據多時語。

The Commentary states: This challenges the one who holds that when the Noble Path is present, [the seventh consciousness] is accompanied by dharmagrāha, and that there is no pure seventh consciousness. When the sixth mental consciousness arises, it is accompanied by only one consciousness; how then could one say that 'two consciousnesses arise together'?
