述曰：《瑜伽》第五十一、《攝論》第一證七識中，以五識為同法，證有第七為第六依。
The Commentary states: In Yogācārabhūmi fascicle 51 and Mahāyānasaṃgraha chapter 1, in establishing the seventh consciousness, they use the five consciousnesses as the similar example (sādharmya-dṛṣṭānta) to prove that there is a seventh consciousness serving as the support for the sixth.
