述曰：釋頌初半，無明為後同《瑜伽》等，以是主故。如《攝論》中，無性第一，世親亦然，解云：由我故起慢，此二有故有愛，此三皆用無明為因。然今少別。

The Commentary states: Explaining the first half of the verse, avidyā (delusion) comes last, identical to the Yogācārabhūmi, etc., because it is the primary [affliction]. As in the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, Asvabhāva's first fascicle, and Vasubandhu as well, explain: because of self, conceit arises; because these two exist, attachment exists; all three of these take ignorance as their cause. Here, however, it is slightly different.
