述曰：下引證有二：初引教；後釋別。此引教。五十八言「無明有」二等，但言「非貪等俱」，即令知與第六識俱無明，非謂第七。不障與忿等二十俱起，故知唯在第六識也。

The Commentary states: Below, citing proof has two parts: first, citing scriptural authority; and second, explaining the distinctions. This cites scriptural authority. Fascicle 58 states that 'ignorance has two...', merely stating 'not together with craving and the others', which immediately makes one know that it is ignorance associated with the sixth consciousness, not the seventh. It does not hinder arising together with the twenty such as anger, so we know it is only in the sixth consciousness.
