5.658

述曰：下第二文。於中有四：一、總破諸部；二、破一切有部；三、破大眾部等；四、破經部。其文可解。無六識者，亦有二解：一、一生長時；二、除初後，故言長時。

The Commentary states: The second text below. In it there are four parts: first, a general refutation of the various schools; second, a refutation of the Sarvāstivāda; third, a refutation of the Mahāsāṃghika and others; fourth, a refutation of the Sautrāntika. Its text is easy to understand. As for lacking the six consciousnesses, there are also two explanations: first, the long duration of an entire lifetime; second, excluding the initial and final [moments]; hence it is called "a long time."
