述曰：以餘具縛者為例喻。量云：無想有情位，應起我執；異生攝故；如餘異生趣位。又無想定都無我執心、心所者，應如涅槃，非是聖賢之所訶厭。量云：無想聖人應不訶厭；無我執故；如涅槃等。

The Commentary states: Other fully-bound [beings] are used as parallel examples. The syllogistic formulation is: In the state of mindless sentient beings, ātmagrāha should arise; because of being included among ordinary beings; just as in the states of the other destinies of ordinary beings. Furthermore, if in asaṃjñi-samāpatti there are no minds or mental factors of ātmagrāha at all, it should be like nirvāṇa and not be something detested and disparaged by the noble and wise. The syllogistic formulation is: The mindless [state] should not be detested and disparaged by noble persons; because of lacking ātmagrāha; just like nirvāṇa and so forth.
