述曰：大文第三，申其正理。自類眼識等無俱起義故，所以自類前念之識與後為依。
The Commentary states: The third major section sets forth the correct principle. Because eye-consciousness and so on of the same category have no meaning of co-arising, a consciousness of the same category in the preceding moment serves as the basis for the subsequent one.
