自下大文第四，釋難，於中有五。一、諸心相應難。問：八識俱時起，異類相望不作緣；異類心所既同生，應非心所導。

The Commentary states: Below is the fourth major section, resolving objections, in which there are five points. 1. The objection regarding mental association (saṃprayukta). Question: The eight consciousnesses arise simultaneously, and when viewed as different categories, do not act as conditions for one another; since mental factors of different categories arise together, they should not be guided by mental factors.
