5.927

述曰：《瑜伽》第五，五趣分別尋、伺，說地獄中尋、伺、憂俱。然彼唯說鬼趣同之，不言傍生。六十六有，此中通論，故言鬼、傍生也。八十七說憂、苦逼者，謂地獄故，定依客受，地獄有憂。

The Commentary states: In Fascicle Five of the Yogācārabhumī, analyzing vitarka and vicāra across the five destinies, it states that in hell, vitarka and vicāra are associated with sorrow. However, that text only states that the realm of pretas is the same, without mentioning animals. Fascicle Sixty-Six has it, and here it discusses them collectively, hence it mentions pretas and animals. Fascicle Eighty-Seven states that those oppressed by sorrow and pain refers to hell; therefore, definitely relying on adventitious sensations, hell has sorrow.
