述曰：汝以受依容受為論，亦約容受所依識故。如彼六識有時無故，不成意根，其六轉識生、死、悶絕諸位不行。若彼救言，意依主意，受依容說。

The Commentary states: You formulate your argument on sensation based on circumstantial sensations, and also based on the consciousnesses on which circumstantial sensations depend. As those six consciousnesses are sometimes absent, they would not possess the mental faculty, since those six evolving consciousnesses do not operate in states such as birth, death, and swooning. If he rescues his view by saying: the mind is based on the principal mind, while sensation is based on circumstantial [sensations]—
