述曰：此下第二，例餘門也。此中聖教差別多門者，即明三、五受多門，謂有報、無報、界地繫、何地斷等，名曰多門。恐有繁廣故略應止。

The Commentary states: Here below is the second part, analogizing the remaining gateways. Here, 'the diverse gateways of the sacred teachings' refers to explaining the numerous gateways of the three and five feelings—namely, having retribution, lacking retribution, bound to realms and stages, abandoned in which stage, and so on; these are called numerous gateways. Fearing over-elaboration, we should briefly cease.
