述曰：此中比量，欲等五法定非遍行；非觸等五故；如信、貪等。大段第三，明欲等五獨或並生。

The Commentary states: In this formal inference, the five factors—desire and so forth—are definitely not omnipresent, because they are not the five, contact and so forth, just like faith, greed, and so on. The third major section clarifies whether the five, desire and so forth, arise singly or together.
