述曰：第二師說：一切五受皆五相應，何以憂根與欲俱也？《瑜伽》五十七、《對法》第十說：憂根於無上法，思慕欲證，愁慼所攝，即善法欲與憂俱也。證憂餘時亦得俱也。

The Commentary states: The second master says: All five feelings associate with all five [particular-object factors]. Why does the faculty of grief associate with desire? The fifty-seventh fascicle of the Yogācārabhūmi and the tenth fascicle of the Abhidharma-samuccaya state: The faculty of grief involves longing and desiring to realize unsurpassable phenomena, which is subsumed under melancholy; thus desire for wholesome phenomena associates with grief. This proves that grief can also be associated [with desire] at other times.
