述曰：此非實有難。謂彼若言：由待自、他境差別，故二體有別，可俱起者，應此二種皆非實有；有所待故；如長短等。無別自體待自、他故，方成二別，豈非是假？若許是假，便違聖教，五十五等說：十一善中，八是實有。

The Commentary states: This is the objection that they are not real existents. That is, if they say: "Because of depending on the difference between the intentional objects of self and other, the two substances are distinct and can arise together," then these two should both not be real existents; because they have that upon which they depend; like long and short. Having no distinct intrinsic substance, only because they depend on self and other do they become distinct as two; how could they not be designations? If one grants that they are designations, it would contradict the sacred teachings, for fascicle fifty-five and elsewhere state: among the eleven wholesome [factors], eight are real existents.
