述曰：下第二解。此五即是四種修中加初發心，謂長時修、無間修、殷重修、無餘修四，如《對法》第十二抄及《攝論》第七廣解。下第十卷說，然十八任持精進有三攝此四者，亦如彼抄。本地〈菩薩地〉及〈決擇〉七十八等並爾，即六度皆有也。

The Commentary states: Below is the second explanation. These five are the initial resolve of the mind added to the four kinds of cultivation—namely, long-term cultivation, uninterrupted cultivation, earnest cultivation, and remainderless cultivation—as explained in detail in the notes on fascicle twelve of the Abhidharma-samuccaya and fascicle seven of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha. The tenth fascicle below also discusses this; moreover, among the eighteen diligences of sustaining, there are three that subsume these four, which is also as in those notes. The 'Bodhisattvabhūmi' of the Basic Section and fascicle seventy-eight of the 'Viniścaya' are all like this; that is, all six pāramitās have them.
