The Commentary states: The three factors of non-concealment, non-deceit, and non-flattery are parts of the two wholesome roots; as appropriate, they directly reverse parts of greed and delusion, with non-greed reversing the greed part, and so forth. Hence the words 'as appropriate' also include non-arrogance, non-pretension, and so forth in the sixty-second fascicle. Here, with respect to concealment which is countered by non-concealment: there is concealing faults due to greedy attachment to reputation, and there is concealing faults due to delusion. Now, they are parts of non-greed and delusion; the treatise says only that it is a part of delusion because delusion is inevitably present when it arises, which is explained through reasoning.
