The Commentary states: This cites scriptural teaching as proof. This is solely a part of non-delusion. Concealment, which is countered by this, is stated in both the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra and the Abhidharma-samuccaya to be a part of delusion, not a part of greed. Even when one conceals out of greed for fame, the entity of concealment is also delusion, because it is caused by delusion. The former explanation is superior: although it lacks treatise text, it is superior in reasoning. The preceding covers the first nine ending with wrath and the like; since harming has a direct opposite, it is not mentioned here. Above, among the six root afflictions, three roots have their own direct opposites, while the remaining three are not reversed; let us first reverse non-pride.
