述曰：自下第八與前別境相應，以遍行通，所以不說。不定四者，彼中自說，所以不論，故唯言別境。皆不違彼故，有漏位、無漏位皆得相應。然欲界十俱，除輕安；上界具十一，如前理說。此據別境五俱起時，可得為語，然彼有時一、二等生故。

The Commentary states: Next, the eighth section concerns conjunction with the preceding particular [mental factors]. Because the omnipresent (sarvatraga) factors are pervasive, they are not mentioned. The four indeterminate (aniyata) factors are explained in their own section, which is why they are not discussed; therefore, it only mentions the particular factors. Because none are in opposition to them, they can be conjoined in both sāsrava and anāsrava states. However, in the desire realm ten are conjoined, excluding pliancy; the higher realms possess all eleven, as reasoned before. This is stated on the premise of when all five particular factors arise together, though at times they arise as one, two, and so forth.
