述曰：於勝德法及有德者，心不謙下，故受眾苦。顯令厭捨，勿復輪迴。然《對法》中但由有我，故心高舉。此中所謂我見相應及等流生，或遠從根本說。

The Commentary states: Toward superior virtuous dharmas and those possessing virtue, the mind is not humble, so one experiences manifold sufferings. This is shown to induce revulsion and renunciation, so that one will no longer transmigrate. However, in the Abhidharmasamuccaya, it is merely due to having a self that the mind is elevated. What is spoken of here arises in conjunction with the view of self and as its uniform outflow, or it is spoken remotely from the root.
