6.50

述曰：可厭之處即通六識，或唯第六。其中容境，八識俱通，全不起欲，不欣彼故，非可欣故。境雖可欣，若不希望亦無欲起。唯前六識，如邪見撥滅、道等時，亦無有欲。

The Commentary states: Loathsome situations pertain to all six consciousnesses, or only the sixth. Neutral spheres pertain to all eight consciousnesses; desire does not arise at all toward them, because one does not delight in them and they are not delightful. Although a sphere is delightful, if there is no hope, no desire arises either. This is only in the first six consciousnesses, such as when wrong views deny cessation, the path, and so forth, there is also no desire.
