述曰：疑以慧為體，何以故？《大論》五十八說：猶豫簡擇，說為疑也。《大論》第八異覺為體，覺即是慧，決斷名慧。然簡擇猶豫、異決斷覺，說為疑故，此以文證。又訓釋中。

The Commentary states: Doubt has prajñā as its nature. Why is this? Fascicle fifty-eight of the Great Treatise [Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra] says that hesitating discernment is called doubt. Fascicle eight of the Great Treatise says that its nature is an atypical discernment (buddhi); buddhi is discernment (prajñā), and decisiveness is called prajñā.
