述曰：別有自體。然說猶豫，簡擇者由同時疑，或異時疑令慧不決，故非是慧。
The Commentary states: It has a distinct essence of its own. However, with respect to the statement that it is 'hesitating discernment', it is because simultaneous doubt or doubt at a different time causes prajñā to be indecisive; thus, it is not prajñā.
