述曰：此引教也。如《瑜伽》第八十八、《雜集》第三及第七說：唯有斷見。故論言等觀我為斷，知身後無。准此唯言修道斷見，不見修道常見相故。

The Commentary states: This cites scriptural authority. As Yogācāra, fascicle 88, and Samuccaya, fascicles 3 and 7, state: there is only the view of annihilation. Thus the treatise says that seeing the self as annihilated means knowing that after this body there is no further existence. According to this, it speaks only of the view of annihilation on the path of cultivation, because the characteristic of the view of permanence is not seen on the path of cultivation.
