述曰：釋與疑俱。又初疑時，心尚輕未憎彼，故《瑜伽》五十五、五十八俱說不相應。若久思不決，心遂重故便瞋於彼，《對法》第五說，得瞋、疑相應。此初，後位別解。

The Commentary states: This explains co-occurrence with doubt. Furthermore, at the initial moment of doubt, the mind is still light and does not yet hate that object; therefore, Yogācāra, fascicles 55 and 58, both say they do not associate. If after long deliberation it remains unresolved, the mind subsequently becomes heavy and therefore becomes angry with that object; hence Samuccaya, fascicle 5, states that anger and doubt can associate. This explains the distinction between the initial and subsequent stages.
