述曰：下第六，無明，有二種：相應無明與一切俱起。一切惑生必由癡故，獨行不然，但與諸論相違。此中皆會訖。

The Commentary states: Below is the sixth, nescience (avidyā). There are two kinds: associated nescience arises together with all [other afflictions], because the arising of all afflictions is necessarily due to delusion. Independent [nescience] is not so, but it conflicts with various treatises; here they are all reconciled.
