述曰：第七，根本相應門。中二、大八、十煩惱俱，遍染心故，遍不善故。然俱生者與俱生者俱，俱生者中除身、邊見不與無慚愧俱，性相違故，餘定容俱。

[The Commentary states:] Seventh is the section on association with fundamental [afflictions]. The two intermediate and eight great [secondary afflictions] co-occur with the ten afflictions, because they pervade defiled minds and pervade the unwholesome. However, what is innate co-occurs with what is innate; among the innate, self-view and extreme view are excluded from co-occurring with shamelessness and unconscionableness because their natures are mutually contradictory, while the rest are definitely capable of co-occurring.
