述曰：第八，三性門。「小七、中二唯不善」，唯欲界繫，唯發惡行故。「小三、大八，亦通無記」，通色界有，三、八遍染、無記故。

[The Commentary states:] Eighth is the section on the three natures. "The minor seven and intermediate two are solely unwholesome," because they are bound solely to the desire realm and initiate solely evil conduct. "The minor three and great eight are also indeterminate," because they are common to the form realm, and the three and eight pervade defilement and the indeterminate.
