述曰：此三與本惑並得俱起，如《大論》第七染污分別說。設追悔往惡而自邈責，惡作亦不瞋俱，與惡作間生，實不俱起。設說俱者，間生名俱，後三種十皆俱，所緣、行相俱不違故。

The Commentary states: These three can all arise together with the fundamental afflictions (mūlakleśa), as explained under defiled discrimination in the seventh fascicle of the Great Treatise. Even if one regrets past evil and reproaches oneself, remorse is still not accompanied by anger; it arises alternately with remorse, and in reality they do not arise together. If they are said to be together, alternating arising is called "together." The latter three are each accompanied by all ten, because neither their cognitive objects nor their ākāras are mutually contradictory.
