述曰：此顯彼天本有初位，有六轉識報心暫起，宿習無心定，因緣力故，後不復生心，由此生得第六報心滅故。引起異熟無記無心分位之時，名彼無心報，依止本識，此轉識滅分位差別，說名無想。如前第一卷，雖有二解，今准此文，唯於第六心滅上立無想。

The Commentary states: This reveals that in the initial stage of the basic existence of that heaven, the retributive mind of the six evolving consciousnesses temporarily arises. Owing to the power of causes and conditions from the habituation of the mindless attainment in previous lives, the mind does not arise again thereafter. Because this inborn sixth retributive mind ceases, it induces a state of mindlessness that is of maturation and indeterminate nature. At that time, it is designated as that mindless retribution; based on the fundamental consciousness, this differentiated state of the cessation of evolving consciousnesses is nominally designated "non-conceptual." As explained above in the first fascicle, although there were two explanations, now following this text, non-conceptual is established solely upon the cessation of the sixth mind.
