The Commentary states: The second master says: That is not so, because the thirteenth fascicle of the Great Treatise only states six times that are called unconscious: namely, the previous five states and the state of the two vehicles without remainder. Why would it not be so? If it were, one should have spoken of eight states as unconscious; hence one should say the two states of death and birth are subsumed within swoon among these five states, because they are extreme swoons pressed by the suffering of birth and death. If so, why does the verse state the two words 'and' and 'together with'?
