述曰：如五十一、七十六說。上來已解三能變本頌訖，自下第二總為分別，於中有三：一、明俱轉；二、問答分別；三、一異分別。此即初也。因辨六俱，說八俱轉，文易可知。

The Commentary states: As stated in fascicles fifty-one and seventy-six [of the Yogācārabhūmi]. Above, the explanation of the root verse on the three transformations has been concluded. From here on, the second general section provides distinctions, in which there are three parts: first, explaining simultaneous operation; second, distinctions by question and answer; third, distinctions of identity and difference. This is the first. Through distinguishing the simultaneous [operation] of the six, the simultaneous operation of the eight is explained; the text is easy to understand.
