述曰：有為、無為，實、假等法，皆唯有識，以能轉變虛妄分別。二十部等說：體非無，有極成故。既爾，真如及心所等，不是心能變分別，不是心外所分別法，此為有、無。

The Commentary states: Conditioned and unconditioned, real and nominal phenomena, are all consciousness-only, because false discrimination is able to transform. The twenty schools and others state: its substance is not non-existent, being completely established as existing. If that is so, tathatā and mental factors are neither the mind's transforming discrimination nor external discriminated phenomena; do these exist or not?
